Phil Schacht

Phil Schacht has extensive work experience in the concrete and aggregates industry. Phil most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Hanson, a position they held from February 2016 onwards. Prior to this, they worked at Hanson in various roles including Regional General Manager for the Eastern Region from February 2009 to February 2016. Before joining Hanson, Schacht held positions at Pioneer Concrete where they served as a Project Manager for the "Horizon" SAP Implementation from September 1998 to June 2001. Phil also held various management positions at Pioneer Concrete from September 1988 to August 1998. Additionally, Schacht worked at Hanson as the Managing Director Aggregates UK from July 2007 to September 2008, Operations Director UK from October 2004 to June 2007, Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore from March 2002 to September 2004, and as a Business Development Manager from July 2001 to February 2002.

Phil Schacht attended the University of NSW from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining. Phil then attended UNSW from 1987 to 1989 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance.
