Ian James

Ian James is an experienced professional in sales engineering and technical support, currently serving as the Head of UK&I Sales Engineering at Hanwha Vision Europe since November 2024, where responsibilities include providing technical advice and support to enhance business growth. Prior to this role, Ian was with Axis Communications from February 2012 to November 2024, advancing from Sales Engineer to UK Sales Engineering and Training Manager, focusing on the technical aspects of the sales cycle and educating partners about the Axis network video portfolio. Ian began a career in 1994 at Dedicated Micros as the EMEA Application Engineer Supervisor, managing support teams across the EMEA region. Ian holds a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Engineering (Electronic with Microprocessor Applications) from Sheffield Hallam University, obtained from 1991 to 1994.
