Namhyu Kim

Namhyu Kim is a Manager in the Planning Management Team of the Gas Business Division at Hanyang Corporation, where responsibilities include developing an LNG receiving terminal project in Korea, creating financial models for investment decisions, establishing long-term business plans, and managing project execution within budget. Prior experience includes serving as a researcher in the International Energy Security Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where analysis focused on LNG import trends, multilateral energy cooperation, and the implications of international energy projects. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Global Energy Management from Strathclyde Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Korea University. Previous internships involved market research for renewable energy at Ricardo Energy & Environment and contributing to carbon footprint reduction projects at The Carbon Trust. Military service was completed in the artillery battalion near the North Korean border.
