Goran Rumin

Goran Rumin has a solid work experience in the field of software engineering. Their most recent role is as a Software Engineer at Happening, where they are part of a team developing a fleet management solution for in-house self-service betting terminals. In this role, they are responsible for designing and developing event-driven Golang microservices, Golang REST APIs, and database storage. Goran also tackles various DevOps challenges related to CI/CD and monitoring, using technologies such as RabbitMQ, KV database, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, AWS, and Terraform.

Prior to Happening, Goran worked as a Software Engineer at Axilis from March 2020 to October 2022. Goran also gained experience at Infobip, where they served as a Software Engineer from May 2017 to March 2020, and as a Junior Software Engineer from March 2016 to May 2017.

Goran Rumin obtained their Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering and Information Systems from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing. Goran attended this institution from 2012 to 2015. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering and Information Systems at the same university. Goran graduated in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Goran Rumin also obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer in February 2019 from Oracle.
