Sharon Cao

Sharon Cao is the Co-Founder, Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Product Officer at Happied since May 2019 and serves as the DC Board Vice President for the United Women in Business Foundation from January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Technical Account Manager at Alarm.com from November 2014 to August 2018, a Business Analyst at Hitachi Consulting from August 2013 to November 2014, and an Information Technology Leadership Program Intern at GE during the summer of 2012. Sharon also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Virginia from August 2011 to May 2012 and as a Product Development Intern at UVA Darden in June 2011. Earlier experience includes a Public Relations Internship at Digital China and a Sales Associate position at Gap Inc., where recognition as Employee of the Month was received. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, completed in 2013, and attended the LCPS Academy of Science from 2005 to 2009.
