Trish Adkins

Trish Adkins has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Trish started their career as an Editor Intern at Los Angeles Times in 1999. Trish then worked as a Media Manager at The International Ecotourism Society from 2000 to 2002. Afterwards, they served as a Communications Specialist at CB Richard Ellis from 2002 to 2004.

Trish then transitioned to a position at Optometry Giving Sight, where they initially worked as a Program Manager from 2004 to 2009. During this time, they managed the launch and administration of the charity in the U.S. and also served as the Director of Communications. In this role, Trish was responsible for managing and developing all communications efforts in North America, including public relations, ghostwriting for optometric trade publications, editing global material, and graphic design of brochures and annual reports.

Trish continued their career as a Freelance Writer and Content Marketing Consultant starting in 2009. Trish utilized their expertise in ghostwriting, speech writing, social media post writing, email marketing, and editorial content to provide services for various clients. Trish also contributed to Patch as a writer.

From 2012 onwards, Trish joined Happy Family Brands (Nurture Inc) as an Email Marketing and Brand Ambassador Consultant. In this position, they provided their expertise in email marketing and acted as a brand ambassador for the company. Trish also served as a Writer at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation since 2015.

Trish Adkins holds a Bachelor of Art degree in Journalism, PR, and Advertising from Temple University, which was obtained between the years 1995 and 2000. Trish also completed their Master of Arts in Science Writing from the Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs, and is currently pursuing a second Master of Arts degree in Science Writing from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, Trish has obtained a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification from the Lourdes Wholistic Health Institute.
