Matthew Bray

Matthew Bray is an innovative leader with extensive experience in business and technology. Currently serving in the Office of the MD at TecEx Medical since August 2024 and as a Fellow at Harambeans since April 2023, Matthew is part of a select group committed to fostering African innovation. Prior roles include Knowledge Transfer Manager for Energy & Open Innovation at Innovate UK and Co-Founder & CEO of Brayfoil Technologies, where Matthew developed pioneering wind turbine blade technologies, securing USD3 million in funding. Additional experiences encompass fellowships at On Deck and Creative Destruction Lab, corporate finance roles at BASF and Goldman Sachs, and an internship at Citi. Matthew holds multiple degrees in finance from prestigious institutions, including Nova School of Business and Economics and the University of the Witwatersrand.
