Alexi Charbonneau

Chief Engineer, VP Of Structures And Chassis at Harbinger

Alexi Charbonneau has a diverse work experience in the automotive and aerospace industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Consultant at Honda F1 Racing in Japan, where they conducted structural analysis on various chassis and engine components. Alexi also worked as a Design Engineer at Honda Performance Development, designing race engine components. In 2009, they joined Tesla Motors as a Senior Design Engineer, contributing to the development of the Model S Electric Sedan's underbody structure. Alexi then worked at SpaceX as a Sr design engineer, Lead Engineer, and Manager Structures Engineering, leading teams and overseeing structural engineering projects. Following their time at SpaceX, they held roles at Faraday Future as Sr. Manager Body Structure and Director, Body Structure. Most recently, Alexi Charbonneau joined Canoo as Co-Founder and was In Charge of Skateboard and Cabin. Alexi is currently serving as the Vice President of Structures and Chassis at Harbinger. Throughout their career, Alexi Charbonneau has shown expertise in structural engineering and design, with a focus on automotive and aerospace applications.

Alexi Charbonneau attended Polytechnique Montréal from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a B.Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, during 1999 to 2000, they studied in Switzerland, although the degree name and field of study for this particular period are not provided.
