Christy Szoke has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2005, they worked as a Freelance Journalist for the Daily Camera. From 2006 to 2009, they served as the Editor in Chief for Kidz Magazine Publishing Corp, where they published user-generated kids' media and grew circulation to over 1.2 million internationally. From 2009 to 2014, they co-founded and worked as the Director of Production, Director of Marketing, and Co-Founder for Youth Intermedia Inc., where they developed a kid-friendly app development platform and expanded the product market to the enterprise sector. In 2014, they became the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder of Fathym, a low-code rapid innovation framework that empowers developers to build data applications for the Internet of Things. Christy was also a Consultant and Advisor for Fathym until 2021. Since 2016, they have also worked as a Project Manager, Podcast Producer, and Content Creator for the Holistic Cannabis Academy. Finally, in 2020, they joined Harbor Research as the Vice President of Marketing.

Christy Szoke completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism & Communications and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from the same institution, although the start and end years are unspecified. In 2003, they also attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) for journalism and photography.

In 2005, Christy furthered their education at The Umbra Institute in Perugia, Italy, focusing on photography and art.

Christy then obtained a Responsive Website Development and Design Certificate from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2015-2016. Subsequently, in 2022, they received a User Experience Principles and Processes Certificate from the University of Michigan.

Christy recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from LSU Shreveport in 2023, specializing in Marketing and Data Analytics.

In addition to their formal degrees, Christy Szoke has earned several certifications. These include User Experience Principles and Processes from the University of Michigan, obtained in December 2022, Digital Marketing from HubSpot in December 2021, and Leadership & Management Skills for Women from Pryor Learning | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack in October 2019. Christy also completed various certifications in web development and design from Goldsmiths, University of London between 2015 and 2016, and obtained an Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in October 2020.
