Ginger Gorman is an accomplished journalist and social commentator with extensive experience in various media formats, including print, online, radio, TV, and social media. Currently serving as the Editor of BroadAgenda at the University of Canberra since May 2021, Ginger oversees Australia's leading research-based gender equality media platform. With a freelance journalism career beginning in February 2015, Ginger also co-directs Media Bootcamp, an initiative pooling 40 years of journalistic expertise. An author of the bestselling and award-winning book "Troll Hunting," Ginger's experiences with online trolling inform much of their work. Formerly the host of the "Seriously Social" podcast for the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and a long-time presenter, reporter, and producer with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Ginger’s contributions to journalism are both significant and diverse, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from RMIT University.
