Matthew Culbertson

Matthew Culbertson has a robust military and academic background, currently serving at Hardwire LLC since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Commanding Officer and Professor of Naval Science at the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University from July 2018 to June 2021. Culbertson's military career spans extensive leadership positions within the United States Marine Corps, including Executive Assistant and Branch Head for HQMC Aviation, Commanding Officer of Marine Air Control Group-28, and various roles at the Joint Staff. Culbertson holds a Master of National Security Strategy from the National War College and a Master of Military Studies from the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from Longwood University.
