James Hawthorne (Jay)

James (Jay) Hawthorne is an experienced instructional system designer currently employed at Harkcon, Inc. since October 2019. With a comprehensive background in performance analysis and training from previous roles at Metris LLC and PD Systems, Hawthorne has developed expertise in instructional design and training performance. A solid history in the U.S. Coast Guard, spanning nearly two decades, includes leadership positions such as Deputy Chief, Operational Planning and Force Readiness Division, and various executive officer roles. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement, also from Troy University.
