Elizabeth D. is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School History Teacher at Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy since August 2022. Prior to this role, Elizabeth worked at Equitas Academy Charter Schools for two years, initially as a Social and Emotional Learning Lead Teacher, where responsibilities included engaging in restorative conversations with students and leading professional development on social and emotional learning, followed by a position as a Middle School Social Studies Teacher, emphasizing rigorous and anti-racist instruction. Elizabeth also has a background in tutoring and educational support, having worked as a tutor for both DePaul University and independently, and completed a student teaching position at Lake View High School. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from DePaul University and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Montana.
