Mike Bektas

Mike Bektas has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mike currently works at Harlem Next as a Cloud Engineer / DevOps. Prior to that, they held the position of PO / Tech Lead DevOps at the same company. Before joining Harlem Next, Mike worked as a DevOps / Fullstack Senior Developer.

In 2021, Mike also worked at Block Capital Development as a Solidity Engineer, where they provided custom blockchain solutions, developed smart contracts, and worked on various blockchain projects.

From 2018 to 2020, Mike was the Technical Director at Taxi2Airport, where they played a pivotal role in managing technical operations. Mike also briefly served as the Head of Development at VentureBuilders for two months in 2018.

Mike's experience in the travel industry includes working at Otravo - Vliegtickets.nl | WTC.nl | d\u00e9 VakantieDiscounter as a Lead Developer and Backend Developer. Mike contributed to the development and maintenance of their online platforms.

In 2007, Mike founded their own company called Color Red, where they were responsible for managing and operating the business until 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Web Design and Wordpress CMS Specialist at Red Site Up for a year and a half.

Mike's earlier career includes roles at Interieurvannu BV as an E-Commerce Manager, where they focused on system development, online marketing, and achieved a new sales channel. Mike also worked at Chess iX as a System, Application & Multimedia specialist and later as a QA Specialist and Release Manager.

Throughout their career, Mike has gained expertise in cloud engineering, DevOps, blockchain development, smart contract development, web development, automated testing, and project management.

Mike Bektas attended Hartenlust from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Mavo degree. Mike also holds a Sitecore .Net Developers Certification, which they obtained from Sitecore in September 2016.
