Vinita Clements

Vinita Clements is Nationwide’s Chief Human Resources Officer and has led the company’s enterprise HR organization since June 2021. As the CHRO, Vinita oversees the human resources needs of approximately 25,000 Nationwide associates. She is also responsible for leading Nationwide’s overall human resources strategy; talent acquisition; associate and leadership development; cultural development; diversity, equity and inclusion; succession management; compensation and benefits; associate wellbeing and safety; and organizational effectiveness. In her current role, she actively influences organizational change and is pioneering Nationwide’s workplace of the future by redesigning its approach to attracting, hiring and retaining talent. She is also working to evolve the associate experience to include increased workplace flexibility and career development opportunities.
