Yesenia Gonzalez

Yesenia Gonzalez has over eleven years of experience in education, currently serving as a History Teacher at Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District since August 2012, where instruction includes 7th grade Texas History and 8th grade U.S. History. Prior experience includes a role as a Substitute Teacher at Los Fresnos School District and various positions within San Benito CISD, including a Paraprofessional and Interventionist focusing on at-risk students. Yesenia holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Social Studies Education from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Bachelor of Arts in History/Social Studies from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
