Joel Hernandez

Joel Hernandez is an experienced healthcare professional with a career spanning over two decades in emergency and critical care nursing. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room and Cath Lab at Harlingen Medical Center since July 2012, Joel has taken on roles as a Cath Lab Nurse and as an instructor for both Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Prior to this position, Joel worked at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen from April 1999 to August 2012, progressing from an ER technician to Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), and ultimately to Registered Nurse (RN), while also contributing as an instructor in PALS and ACLS. Joel's educational background includes studies at South Texas College.
