Sally Hardcastle

Sally Hardcastle is a Cultural Partnerships and Education Officer at Harlow Council since September 2022 and a Co Director at Matipo Arts CIC since April 2021. With extensive experience in performance design, Sally has worked as a designer and assistant since September 2014, collaborating with prominent designers like Gary McCann, Takis, and Jamie Vartan. Previously, Sally served as a Music Projects Co-ordinator at Essex County Council from March 2020 to September 2022, and as a stage manager for Upswing during the Story Box Circus event in November 2016. Additional roles include various positions at Southwark Playhouse, The Cockpit, and The Brockley Jack Theatre, and volunteer work for Just So Festival. Sally earned a BA (Hons) in Theatre Design from Rose Bruford College from 2013 to 2016 and attended St. Edward's C of E School for arts and business studies from 2011 to 2013. Home education prior to formal schooling occurred from 1995 to 2011.
