Cate McCanless

Ms. McCanless is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and is responsible for developing and advancing Harmony’s public policy agenda with federal, regional, and local governments. She is also responsible for leading the company’s patient advocacy and trade and industry partnership initiatives. Prior to joining Harmony, she was a Policy Director at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck where she led the Health Care Government Affairs practice and was responsible for strategically advising and representing clients in all disciplines of American healthcare seeking to have a positive impact on patients and the nation’s health care system. Prior to her time at Brownstein, she also served as a federal lobbyist for the American College of Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology. Ms. McCanless also has experience in political finance and campaign activities.

Ms. McCanless holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from East Carolina University.
