Scott Yackey

Scott Yackey is a Principal and Intellectual Property Attorney at Harness, Dickey & Pierce, P.L.C. since April 2018, with previous experience as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group at Dykema Cox Smith from August 2015 to April 2018, focusing on intellectual property litigation involving patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters. Prior to this, Scott Yackey served as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Client Service Group at Bryan Cave from August 2012 to August 2015. Scott Yackey began their career at Tenneco, first as a Co-Op Engineer from May 2003 to June 2006 and later as a Development Engineer from May 2007 to July 2009, where responsibilities included tuning exhaust systems for acoustic and engine performance. Scott Yackey holds a JD from Saint Louis University (2009-2012) and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University (2002-2007).
