Grant Rapaport has worked for multiple companies in various roles over the past 16 years. In 2021, they began working as Group CFO for Harper + Scott, a full service promotional and corporate merchandising development, design and production services company. In 2020, they were Managing Director at Frameworx Consulting. From 2016 to 2017, they were COO & CFO at Rhino Africa, the largest independent online inbound tour operator in Africa. In 2017, they were Director at RISE AFRICA FOUNDATION. From 2013 to 2016, they were Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee at NYSSCPA. From 2008 to 2013, they were Senior Manager and Financial Services Manager at Grant Thornton LLP. Finally, from 2006 to 2008, they were Audit Senior at Grant Thornton South Africa. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they were Lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Finance.
Grant Rapaport obtained their Masters - PGDA (CTA) in Accounting, Tax and Finance from the University of Cape Town in 2004. Grant then obtained their B. Comm (Honours) Accounting in Accounting from the University of Cape Town in 2005. Grant obtained their Bachelor of Business Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Cape Town in 2003. In 2009, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA. In 2007, they obtained their Chartered Accountant (South Africa) from SAICA CA(SA).
