Lead Crime Analysis & Applications Analyst at HARRIS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Demi Snow, MPA, has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and organizations. They began their career as a Scholar at Ronald E. McNair Scholar from April 2010 to December 2011. After that, they served as an Administrative Coordinator II at the Southern University and A&M College System from August 2008 to September 2012.

In 2012, Snow joined The GEO Group, Inc. as a Case Manager I, where they managed a caseload of felony convicted males and implemented a career service station to assist parolees in job search and professional development.

From August 2013 to July 2015, Snow worked as a Communication Officer IV at the Harris County Sheriff's Office, receiving and analyzing emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and medical agencies.

Following this, Snow transitioned to the role of a Substance Abuse Counselor at the Harris County Sheriff's Office from July 2015 to September 2016. In this position, they designed policy manuals, provided social services and education classes to inmates, and conducted rehabilitation for individuals with complex issues.

Currently, Snow holds the role of Lead Crime Analysis & Applications Analyst at the Harris County Sheriff's Office, starting from September 2016. In this role, they have accomplished significant cost reductions, streamlined complex queries, and utilized predictive analysis to reduce crime in targeted areas.

Demi Snow, MPA obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree from Texas Southern University in 2013, specializing in Public Policy. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, Demi Snow earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Honors degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Honors degree in Sociology, from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge. Additionally, during this time, Demi Snow also earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the same institution.
