Melody Waits

Melody Waits has extensive experience in law enforcement and business ownership. Currently serving as an Investigator in Crimes against Children at Harris County Sheriff's Office since July 2020, Melody previously held the position of Deputy Sheriff while also operating Blue Purpose Woodwoorks. Prior roles include Police Officer at Katy ISD from September 2014 to July 2020, where responsibilities included instruction in various law enforcement techniques, and Detention Officer at Harris County Sheriff's Office between November 2012 and September 2014. Melody began a career in support services at BAE Systems from September 2009 to December 2011. Educational background includes earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from the University of Phoenix between 2010 and 2014.
