Richard Burchfiel

Richard Burchfiel has extensive work experience in various roles within the information technology field. Richard began their career at Spaghetti Company as a Restaurant Assistant Manager and Server before moving on to work as an Assistant to the buyer at Harbor Freight Tools. Richard then joined Fresno Chaffee Zoo as a Network Tech, where they were responsible for troubleshooting and implementing web services. After that, they worked as a Network Analyst at Sebastian, where they focused on expanding the company's IT managed services offerings. Richard then joined Totlcom Inc. as a Network Engineer, specializing in ShoreTel phone system implementations and help desk support. Following this, they held the position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Central Valley Meat Co., Inc., where they oversaw projects such as implementing an access control system and configuring network infrastructure. Richard currently serves as the CIO at Harris Ranch Beef Company and CLW FOODS, LLC.

Richard Burchfiel began their education journey in 2001 at Clovis West High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2003. After high school, they attended ITT Technical Institute-Clovis from 2007 to 2009, earning an Associate of Science degree in Computer Networking Systems. In 2012, Richard pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Cyber Security from ITT Technical Institute-Clovis, which they completed in 2013.

Richard continued their education by enrolling in Western Governors University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's degree in Information Security and Data Assurance, specializing in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.

In addition to their formal education, Richard has also obtained several certifications. These include the Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator v8 and Certified Ethical Hacker certifications from EC-Council, the HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates certification from HIPAATraining.com, and the Computing Fundamentals certification from Certiport. Richard also holds certifications from Microsoft, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, 70-410 - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012, and 70-411 - Administering Windows Server 2012. Furthermore, Richard has obtained certifications from ShoreTel, including 3400e - Designing and implementing the ShoreTel Contact Center Solution and 3200e - Implementing ShoreTel IP System.
