Aurora Mendez is an accomplished violinist and teaching artist with a diverse portfolio of experience in both performance and education. Currently serving as a Strings Teaching Artist at the New Jersey Symphony and as a violinist for the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Aurora also holds positions as violinist and Orchestra Fellow at Spoleto Festival USA and as a Violin Teaching Artist in Residence at the South Orange Performing Arts Center. Previous roles include violinist and Harmony Fellow with the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, Violin Fellow with APEX Ensemble/The Montclair Orchestra, and faculty positions at Robert Treat Academy Charter School and Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts. Education includes a Bachelor of Music and Performer's Certificate from Montclair State University, along with a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Additionally, Aurora has experience in Web3 as a consultant and community manager for VinylsNFT, showcasing a blend of artistic and digital expertise.
