Chris Dawson is a registered patent attorney with over a decade of experience in patent preparation and prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and technology transactions. Currently serving as Counsel at Harrity & Harrity, LLP since 2021, Chris focuses on drafting complex patent applications in the electrical, mechanical, and business method arts. Previously, as a Partner at Hovey Williams LLP from 2016 to 2021, Chris concentrated on intellectual property litigation and patent preparation. Judicial Law Clerk experience was gained at the U.S. Courts of Appeals under The Honorable Nancy L. Moritz from 2015 to 2016. Earlier roles include Associate at Banner Witcoff (2010-2015) and Technology Transfer Associate at Kansas State University (2007-2009). Chris holds a JD from The George Washington University Law School, an MBA from Kansas State University, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University.
