Todd Surden is a Partner and Head of the Litigation and Bankruptcy Group at Hartman Simons & Wood LLP, where responsibilities include representing commercial landlords, lenders, property managers, developers, business owners, and creditors in various legal matters. With extensive experience in real estate and commercial litigation, Todd Surden is knowledgeable in landlord/tenant law, the foreclosure process, the bankruptcy code, judgment execution and collection strategies, insurance coverage disputes, and regulatory compliance issues. Previous positions include Partner at Macey, Wilensky & Hennings, Litigation Attorney at McCurdy & Candler, and Associate Attorney roles at Freeman Mathis & Gary and Fields Howell. Todd Surden earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science from Columbia University and Modern Jewish Studies from The Jewish Theological Seminary.
