Sara Malconian

Sara Malconian is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Currently serving as the Chief Procurement Officer at Harvard University since July 2016, Sara's previous roles include Assistant Director of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2016, and Vice President of Procurement at Wellington Management from 2006 to 2011. Prior to these positions, Sara held leadership roles at State Street Corporation, including Vice President & Director of Global Strategic Sourcing and Strategic Sourcing Initiative Project Manager, and also garnered experience in the financial services and real estate sectors. Sara holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Columbia Business School and a cum laude BA in Mathematics and Sociology from Bates College.
