Alan Bell

Alan Bell is an accomplished engineering leader with over three decades of experience in quality engineering and site reliability. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Harver since June 2022, Alan leads multiple engineering teams globally, focusing on enhancing product stability and performance through Site Reliability Engineering best practices. Previously, during a 17-year tenure at Monotype, Alan defined and implemented key roles in Site Reliability Engineering, significantly improving monitoring and system uptime. Alan also held various leadership positions in quality engineering at IBM Rational, Scansoft, Watermark Software, Open Data, Progress Software, and Private Healthcare Systems, establishing a strong foundation in quality strategy and engineering. Alan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clarkson University, obtained in 1987.
