Melissa Murphy

Melissa Murphy has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance roles. Melissa is currently working as an Accounting Manager at Harvest since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Financial Analyst at the same company from October 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Harvest, Melissa worked at Reconciled from March 2021 to October 2021. During their time there, they held various roles including Manager, Senior Cloud Accounting Specialists and Senior Cloud Accounting Specialist. Melissa Murphy obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business with an Accounting concentration from Columbia College (SC) between 2011 and 2012. Melissa then pursued a Master of Accountancy degree in Accounting at the University of South Carolina from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Melissa has acquired several certifications. In December 2019, they obtained the Bill.com certification from Bill.com. Melissa further expanded their knowledge in October 2019 by obtaining the Receipt Bank certification from ReceiptBank. Melissa continued to enhance their skills in various software and platforms, earning the QuickBooks Advanced Certification from QuickBooks Online Professional in October 2020. Melissa also achieved the Excel Pivot Tables certification from Udemy in January 2020. Melissa's proficiency in using Bill.com was recognized through the Bill.com International certification, which they obtained in February 2021. Moreover, they received the Excel: Mastering Lookup Functions certification from CPAacademy.org in April 2021. Lastly, Melissa became a Xero Advisor Certified professional after completing the certification program offered by Xero in April 2020.
