Ben Liebald

Ben Liebald currently serves as VP of Engineering at Harvey since October 2024. Prior experience includes holding the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Figma from December 2021 to October 2024, where responsibilities encompassed supporting engineering teams for FigJam and Figma Slides, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance product offerings. As Chief Technology Officer at Branch International from August 2018 to October 2021, Ben led engineering and data science teams during a significant growth phase and managed the company's response to the global pandemic. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO of Rep - Mensch Labs, Senior Engineering Manager at YouTube, and Senior Software Engineer at Google, where contributions included the development of recommendation systems and machine learning applications. Educational background features a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen.
