Colette Alexander

Colette Alexander is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at HashiCorp, where responsibilities include managing engineering managers and overseeing initiatives focused on reliability, observability, and cost optimization for HashiCorp Cloud products. With a diverse background that includes roles as Senior Director of Engineering at Cognite and Senior Engineering Manager at Spotify, Colette has extensive experience in security engineering, incident management, and developing platforms for artist-fan connections. Colette is also a prominent freelance musician, performing as a cellist, composer, and arranger with various artists globally since 1998. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Human Factors from Lund University and an MFA in Cello Performance from the California Institute of the Arts.
