Karen Atfield

Karen Atfield has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to human resources. Karen is currently the Group Head of People and Culture at Hassell, where they lead the development and implementation of strategies to attract, engage, and develop employees. Prior to Hassell, Karen worked as the Organisational Strategy Manager - People & Culture at WT Partnership, where they provided strategic and operational support to the company and improved the value of people and culture to the business. Karen also served as the General Manager Human Resources at Bendon, with responsibility for global HR and recruitment. Earlier in their career, Karen held positions at PeopleScout APAC, Korn Ferry Futurestep, Watson Wyatt, Eastern Broadband Telecom, and Optus, gaining experience in a range of HR-related roles.

Karen Atfield has a Bachelor of Economics (Social Science) with Honors from the University of Sydney. Karen also holds a Higher School Certificate (HSC) from Ravenswood.
