Neil Smith

Neil Smith is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in design and project management. Since December 2010, Neil has held various leadership roles at Hastings Deering, including Engineering Manager and Principal Design Engineer, where responsibilities encompass coordinating technical projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Prior to Hastings Deering, Neil gained valuable experience at Jaguar Land Rover, CNH UK Ltd, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, serving in roles that emphasized mechanical design and project engineering. Neil holds an Advanced Course degree from the University of Cambridge and a B.Eng (Hons) from the University of Glasgow, along with a Frontline Management qualification from the Australian Institute of Management.
