Rory Clifford

Rory Clifford is an experienced commercial manager with a strong background in finance and commercial aspects across various industries. Currently serving as the Commercial Manager at Hastings Deering since May 2023, Rory manages a significant $500m capital pipeline and oversees the commercial aspects of major construction contracts. Previous roles include Commercial Manager at Dyno Nobel and Commercial Superintendent at Swire Mining, where Rory was responsible for managing contracts and ensuring financial compliance. Rory's career began in the Swire 'Management Trainee' Graduate program, progressing through positions such as Project Engineer and Demand Planner. An accomplished educator, Rory also served as the Head Mechanical Engineering Tutor at Warrane College, UNSW. Rory holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNSW and Western University.
