Ahmad Khaliq

Ahmad Khaliq is a Senior Data Scientist at Hastings Direct, where responsibilities include driving data-driven innovation and providing strategic guidance to the Pricing, Data, and Analytics community. Concurrently, Ahmad serves as a PhD Researcher at the QUT Centre for Robotics, focusing on deep learning algorithms for autonomous systems. Prior experience includes working as an AI Research Scientist at MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, where Ahmad developed intelligent simulator models for logistics, and a Research Officer at the University of Essex, contributing to the Interreg V2 Seas INCASE project. Ahmad's technical background also encompasses roles as a Software Design Engineer at xFlow Research Inc. and a Design Engineer at the Center for Advanced Research in Engineering, which involved significant projects in telecommunications and network virtualization. Ahmad holds a Master of Science in Computing & Electronic Systems from the University of Essex and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology.
