Georg Baunach has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Product Development Intern at ATG:biosynthetics GmbH. Georg then worked as a Research Assistant at Zentrum für Molekulare Biologie Heidelberg in 2014 and later as a Research Internship at Harvard Medical School from 2014 to 2014. In 2015, Georg Baunach founded Etility and served as the CEO until 2016. Georg went on to establish Plastic Fischer GmbH in 2019, where they focused on removing plastic from rivers in Asia. In 2020, Georg Baunach co-founded Umami Meats and ANB SENSORS LTD, where they currently hold board member positions. Georg is also the Managing Partner and Co-founder of HATCH, a global sector-specific investment firm in sustainable aquaculture and alternative seafood, operating a consulting unit and innovation programs for startups.
Georg Baunach pursued higher education and completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular biotechnology from Heidelberg University between 2011 and 2015. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2017, they attended London Business School where they obtained a Master in Management degree with a specialization in Management.
