Anne Carrel

Anne Carrel currently serves as the Cheffe du Centre de documentation at Haute Ecole pédagogique Fribourg, a position held since June 2009, and also fulfills the role of scientific librarian. Prior experience includes working as a system librarian for the Swiss Federal Administration from October 2005 to April 2009, and as a librarian at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs from January 2002 to March 2006. Educational qualifications include a CESID in Library Sciences from the University of Geneva (2003-2005) and a Master of Arts in French and English literature and French linguistics from Université de Fribourg (1995-2000), as well as completing Maturité fédérale at Collège Sainte-Croix (1991-1995) and attending Otago Girls High School for a year in 1993.
