Sourav Das has a diverse work experience in the field of data science, engineering, and analytics. Sourav started as a Research Manager at Accord in 2006 and then transitioned to a Research Associate Grade I at Hewlett-Packard in 2007. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Sky, where they held roles as a Snr. Analyst and Lead Analyst, focusing on building ML models and improving targeting capabilities in the advertising domain. In 2019, Sourav joined Havas Media Group, where they progressed from a Data Science Director to the Data Science Business Director and is currently serving as the Head of Data Science & Engineering, leading the team in developing products and solutions embedded with core machine learning algorithms and principles. Their responsibilities include measurement, media effectiveness, and developing frameworks for quantifying creative quality and measuring channel incrementality. Sourav's work at Havas also involved automating various workstreams through an ML App Store.
Sourav Das completed an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2010. In 2013, they began studying Actuarial Science at the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI-24942). In May 2021, Sourav obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google.
