Stephan Trost

Stephan Trost has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting their career in 1993 as a Junior Buyer at ABB, they later worked as a Strategic Purchasing Manager at ABB Industrie AG. Trost then transitioned to Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, where they served as a WebPublisher and eMarketing Manager. Afterward, they joined devICe Trading GmbH as a Professional Trader, followed by a role as the Head of Purchasing, Logistics, and IT at Sidrag AG. Trost also worked at iceline seetal as a Member of the Board and General Manager for Inline Activities. Stephan then moved to Oerlikon, where they held various positions, including Global Head of Procurement and Global Head Procurement Oerlikon Surface Solutions EQ (Balzer & Metco). Currently, Trost holds the position of Head of Procurement at Hawa Sliding Solutions AG.

Stephan Trost has a Diploma in Commercial Education (KV) from zB. Zentrum Bildung, which they obtained from 1990 to 1993. Stephan later pursued a Higher Education Diploma in Business Administration VSK from BVS Business School in Lucerne from 2009 to 2010. In 2000, they completed a SIZ WebPublisher program at IFA The Knowledge Company AG, focusing on Webseiten, Digital-/Multimedia- und Informationsressourcen-Design. Stephan Trost has most recently earned an Executive MBA in Geschäftsverwaltung und Leitung, allgemein from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts between 2019 and 2021.
