Marc Dexter

Marc Dexter has extensive work experience in various roles related to compliance, health, safety, environment, and project management. Marc worked as a Senior Director of Compliance at Hawaii Gas from 2018 onwards. Prior to that, they were employed at Island Energy Services, LLC as a Senior Director of Health, Safety, and Environment from September 2016 to May 2018. At CH2M, Marc held multiple positions, including Client Account Manager, Commercial Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Senior Hydrogeologist, from 2000 to 2016. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in environmental planning, engineering, permitting, civil and geotechnical engineering, solid waste management, and hydrogeology.

Marc Dexter attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology and Geophysics. Marc then continued their education at the same institution from 1988 to 1990 and completed the Civil Engineering Continuing Education Program, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree. Additional certifications held by Marc include Certified Concrete Mix Designer from the Portland Cement Association, Construction Quality Control Manager from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Registered Environmental Manager from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals, and Registered Professional Geologist from the State of Missouri.
