Director Of Pole Infrastructure Enterprise/ Business Development at Hawaiian Electric

Christian Whitney is the founder and president of Lilikoi Project Hawaii, a women's entrepreneurial organization that empowers women to turn their passion projects into non-profits and small businesses. Prior to this role, Christian worked at Hawaiian Electric Company as the Director of Pole Infrastructure Enterprise/Business Development, where they leased infrastructure assets for telecom, security, and lighting opportunities. Christian also served as the Senior Policy & Contracts Strategist, focusing on electric utility regulatory and legislative matters, particularly in pole infrastructure and the deployment of telecommunications equipment. Additionally, Christian held the position of Senior Fuels Strategist at Hawaiian Electric Company.

Christian Whitney attended Drake University from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Following this, they attended The University of Tulsa College of Law from 2001 to 2004 and earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
