Hilary Wells

Hilary Wells has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hilary is currently serving as the Chief HR Officer at Sony, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they were the HR Director at Hawk-Eye Innovations Ltd starting from June 2017.

In 2016, Hilary founded their own company called Third Approach, where they served as the Founder & Director until April 2020. During their time there, they focused on partnering with clients to facilitate sustainable growth through organizational design programs.

Before starting their own company, Hilary worked as the People Director at Mount Anvil in 2016 and the Group HR Director at Berry Bros. & Rudd Ltd from 2011 to 2015. These roles provided their with experience in luxury residential development and the wine industry, respectively.

Hilary also has experience in photography, having established their own business called Hilary Jane Wells Photography from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Business Partner at Hampshire County Council from 2007 to 2009 and as an HR Manager at Twinings from 2002 to 2007.

Their early career includes a role as an HR Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where they provided HR support to the South Central Region.

Overall, Hilary Wells has a wealth of experience in various HR roles, ranging from strategic leadership positions to entrepreneurial ventures.

Hilary Wells has a BA(Hons) degree in Corporate Communication (2:1) from Solent University, which was obtained between 1993 and 1996. In 2002, they attended Malpas to achieve an Assoc CIPD (Merit) degree. In 2013, Hilary attended INSEAD and focused on Business Strategy for HR Leaders. Hilary then obtained a Certification in Systemic Team Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching in 2016. Lastly, in 2017, Hilary studied Organisation & Relationship Systems Coaching at CRR Global.
