MJ Houston has extensive work experience in the security industry. They began their career at Marill Security & Patrol Services in 1980 and held multiple roles such as Dispatch, Road Supervisor, Operations, Corporate Manager, and President until 2002. From 2002 to 2014, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at The JMart Group, Inc. dba/ Marill Security Services. They then joined SOS Security LLC as the Regional Vice President from 2014 to 2018. Currently, MJ Houston holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Hawk-Eye Protective Services since 2019.

From 1985 to 1989, MJ Houston attended Broward College and studied Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General fields of study.
