Matt Taylor

Matt Taylor has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Hawk Ridge Systems since March 2022. In this position, they oversee the marketing division for various business units and is responsible for driving consideration, acquisition, and revenue expansion.

Prior to their current role, Matt worked at Verizon Media, where they held the position of Director of Marketing Integration and Opportunity from January 2020 to February 2022. Before that, they served as a Senior Marketing Manager in the same company from September 2017 to January 2020.

In 2016, Matt was employed at Yahoo! Inc. as the Director of Strategic Partnerships in the Office of Inclusive Diversity, where they worked from September 2016 to April 2017.

Between 2011 and 2016, Matt worked at Carol H Williams Advertising as the Vice President of Business Development Director and Group Account Director.

Earlier in their career, Matt had roles at FOX Sports, including Account Executive at Home Team Sports from April 2007 to September 2011 and Account Executive at FOX Sports Net Bay Area from September 2004 to April 2007.

Matt Taylor has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Mass Communications from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained between 2000 and 2004. In addition, they pursued further education and received an MBA in Marketing/Entrepreneurship/International Business from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 2008 to 2011. Matt also attended Howard University in 2003 for a course in Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Prior to their higher education, they attended Skyline High School. Matt Taylor has obtained several certifications, including SOLIDWORKS Core Marketing Certification from Dassault Systèmes in 2023, Creativity at Work: A Short Course from Seth Godin through LinkedIn in 2022, Becoming an Ally to All from LinkedIn in 2021, and Insights For Innovation from IDEO U in 2021.
