Alex Sherrill

Alex Sherrill is a Lab Manager at Hawker Powersource Inc since August 2015, overseeing chemical and electrical lab operations and driving manufacturing process improvements. Prior to this role, Alex served as a Graduate Assistant at Tennessee Technological University from August 2012 to July 2015, engaging in research on the synthesis of polymeric microparticles and providing supervision and training in lab safety. Alex’s experience also includes a Fall Internship at GE, focusing on Lean Manufacturing techniques, and earlier positions as a laborer at Betty Machine Company, a grader at Kumon, and a team member at Chick-fil-A. Alex holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Freed-Hardeman University.
