Ian Wesley

Ian Wesley has a significant amount of experience in the field of data engineering and data science. Ian most recently worked as a Senior Data Engineer at HawkEye 360 since February 2023. Prior to this, they also held the position of Senior Data Engineer at FreightWaves from April 2022 to February 2023. Before that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at FreightWaves from December 2021 to April 2022. Additionally, Ian previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist at the Washington State Department of Transportation from December 2017 to December 2021. Ian started their career at the Washington State Department of Ecology as a Better Brakes Rule Coordinator from March 2010 to December 2017.

Ian Wesley obtained a Bachelor's degree from The Evergreen State College from 2008 to 2009. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained certifications in Machine Learning Specialization through Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017, and in Senior Data Scientist through the Data Science Council of America in June 2019.
