Petra Chow

Petra Chow has a strong background in satellite engineering and aerospace. Petra currently holds the position of Senior Satellite Engineer, Flight Dynamics at HawkEye 360 since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Satellite Engineer, Flight Dynamics at HawkEye 360 from May 2020 to February 2022. Before joining HawkEye 360, Petra worked at OneWeb as an Orbit Engineer in March 2020 and as an Associate Orbit Analyst from March 2018 to March 2020. Prior to OneWeb, they gained experience as an Aerospace Engineer at Orbital ATK from June 2017 to March 2018. Petra also has experience outside the aerospace industry, having worked as a Technical Lead at Improving Fit, a startup focused on developing calendars for gyms, from August 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they collaborated with the founder to develop web-based software and provided input on hiring decisions.

Petra Chow earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University, graduating in 2015. Petra then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, in August 2012, Petra obtained a certification in STK 9 from AGI, Inc.
