Monica Issa

Monica has over nine years of experience in Accounting, Finance, and bookkeeping. Monica’s responsibilities included Month/Quarterly/Year-end close, account reconciliations, preparing financial and operating reports, Account Receivables, and analyzing variances and trends on financial statements.

Prior to joining HawkPartners, Monica was a Sr. Accountant at Oxford Industries performing close tasks and preparing trial balances for retail, restaurants, and wholesale for specific operating groups and business units. Monica was responsible for all account reconciliation, including inventory, prepaids, and accruals; She also monitored all the credit card and cash activities for the restaurant and retail business units.

Outside of work, Monica loves to play tennis and is referred to as a “tennis junkie” by her friends and family. She enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, exploring nature, and spending time with family. She is also fluent in Hindi.

Monica holds a BA in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
