Emily Hopkins

Emily Hopkins, MBA, currently serves as an Associate at Hawkwood Biotech Partners, focusing on scaling industrial biotech and foodtech startups through engineering, strategy, and fundraising support. As a Global Ambassador for FoodHack, Emily plays a key role in connecting foodtech entrepreneurs and investors in the San Francisco area. Additionally, Emily holds the position of Venture Associate at Genoa Ventures and is a Fellow with StartingBloc, an esteemed global fellowship program aimed at fostering sustainable leadership. Previous roles include Senior Operator at Genwise, CoFounder and Director of Strategy at Green Logic, and various scientific and managerial positions in bioprocess engineering. Emily earned an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Biology and Chemistry from the same institution.
